Waitress may have had to close up its run at the Adelphi theatre a few months early but we haven't seen the last of Jenna and her friends.
The show was due to embark on a massive tour around the UK this year but has now shifted its dates to next year. As well as announcing the rescheduled dates, the tour has also added new venues and dates meaning the show will be playing around the country into 2022.
The tour will now begin in Bradford on 1st May 2021 before making its way to Birmingham, Ipswich, Southampton, Liverpool, Woking, Nottingham, Glasgow, Bristol, Plymouth, Oxford, Cardiff, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Southend, Norwich, Crawley, Milton Keynes, Wimbledon, Eastbourne, Sunderland, Brighton, Manchester, Abderdeen, Stoke-on-Trent, Northampton, Edinburgh, Leicester, Hull, Bromley, Belfast, Newcastle, Torquay before wrapping up the run in April 2022 in Llandudno (A soft place to Llandudno?)
That's what I call an extensive tour!
Tickets are on sale now for some dates already, while tickets for Woking, Nottingham, Glasgow ,Wimbledon, Plymouth, Oxford, Cardiff , Norwich, Milton Keynes, Stoke-on-Trent, Northampton, Leicester and Liverpool (they could use a little pie shop there) go on sale over the next week. Exact dates and tickets on the link:
Full casting is yet to be announced. After missing out on a proper goodbye to this show at the Adelphi, I can't wait to go to a few dates on this tour
