Theatre lovers on both sides of the Atlantic have been treated to something very special over the last two weeks, with the special 25th anniversary celebration performances of The Last Five Years, starring Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler.
Now, audiences all over the world will be able to enjoy their performances, with the announcement that the live recording will be released as an album on April 20th.
The stars surprised the audience at their huge Hollywood Bowl show tonight by announcing the release of the album on stage. It was recorded at the London Palladium last week, with Platt and Zegler joined on stage by the show's writer Jason Robert Brown, conducting and playing the piano.
