This summers production of Anything Goes at the Barbican just got a lot more exciting.
Living legend Sutton Foster joins the cast, reprising her Tony award winning performance as Reno Sweeney. She replaces the previously announced Megan Mullally and joins a cast including Robert Lindsay, Felicity Kendal and Gary Wilmot.
Megan Mullally has had to withdraw from the musical due ti a foot injury. In a newly released statement, Megan said she was "heartbroken" not to be working on this classic musical.
Foster previously played the role on Broadway from 2011-2012 where she recived a Tony award for best actress in a musical. She is soon to be seen playing on Broadway opposite Hugh Jackman in The Music Man which opens later this year.
Anything Goes runs at the Barbican in London from July 23rd until October 17th. Sutton Foster appears in the show until October 10th when she flies back to New York to begin rehearsals for The Music Man.
