November Preview: 30 Of The Best Shows This Month

2022 is rapidly drawing to a close with just two months left. The abundance of new theatre isn't slowing down though with a lot of amazing shows to enjoy throughout November.

CINDERELLA (Hope Mill Theatre)



November 1st - December 13th

Postponed from its original 2020 run, the UK theatrical premiere of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella opens at the gorgeous Hope Mill in Manchester starring Grace Mouat and Jacob Fowler. Tickets from http://www.hopemilltheatre.co.uk/


MELISSA ERRICO (Crazy Coqs)



November 1st - 3rd

DORIAN: THE SON OF LOVE AND DEATH (The Other Palace)



November 1st - 6th

ZOMBIEGATE (Theatre503)



November 1st - 19th

THE SEX PARTY (Menier Chocolate Factory)



November 4th - January 7th 2023

The world première of this play from Terry Johnson’ reopens the Menier after a short break with a cast including Will Barton, Amanda Donohoe, Lisa Dwan, John Hopkins , Timothy Hutton, Jason Merrells, Pooya Mohsen, Molly Osborne and Kelly Price. Tickets from http://www.menierchocolatefactory.com/


REASONS YOU SHOULDN'T LOVE ME (Kilm Theatre)



November 5th - 26th

Following a sell-out critically acclaimed run last year, Amy Trigg’s debut play returns to the Kiln theatre to complete a 21 venue UK tour. Tickets from http://www.kilntheatre.com/


DIANA: THE UNTOLD AND UNTRUE STORY (UK Tour)



From November 8th

Awkward Productions and Linus Karp follow up their jellicle hit show with this unique celebration of the peoples princess. Combining drag, multimedia, audience interaction, puppetry and a lot of queer joy, it kicks off an extensive UK tour with dates at the Pleasance in London. DEATH DROP: BACK IN THE HABIT (Garrick Theatre)



November 8th - 20th

Willam, Cheryl Hole, River Medway, Victoria Scone and Louis Cyfer star in this sequel to last years hit based around a group of fierce Nuns. Playing a short West End run in the middle of a UK tour. Tickets from nimaxtheatres.com


HERE (Southwark Playhouse)



November 11th - December 3rd

The winner of the 2022 Papatango New Writing Prize, the world première of Clive Judd’s Here is a tender, funny and utterly truthful story about family and feeling. Tickets from southwarkplayhouse.co.uk


WHITE CHRISTMAS (UK Tour)



November 12th - December 31st

A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Old Vic)



November 12th - January 7th 2023

Matthew Warchus’s visionary retelling of the Charles Dickens classic has become a Christmas tradition at the Old Vic. Starring Owen Teale as Scrooge, this version fills the auditorium to the brim with mince pies, music and merriment. A unique staging immerses the audience in this uplifting story. AGE OF MADNESS (Here at Outernet)



November 13th

GLORY RIDE (The Other Palace)



November 14th - 16th

PICKLE (Park Theatre)


November 14th - 26th

42 BALLOONS (Vaudeville Theatre)



November 14th - 28th

ELF (Dominion Theatre)

November 14th - January 7th 2023

BEST OF ENEMIES (Noel Coward Theatre)



November 14th - February 18th 2023

TOP HAT (The Mill at Sonning)



November 16th - December 30th

Following a run last year, The Mill hosts a production of Top Hat with a cast led by Jonny Labey. Based on the 1935 movie, this show celebrates 1930s song, style and romance with the songs of Irving Berlin underpinning every scene. Tickets from millatsonning.com


THE JINKX AND DELA HOLIDAY SHOW (UK Tour)



November 17th - 20th

RuPaul's Drag Race legends BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon (the Queen of Queens according to the recent All Winners season) are coming to town with their fantastic holiday show. With stops in the UK as part of a huge tour, tickets from https://www.jinkxanddela.com/


DINNER WITH GROUCHO (Arcola Theatre)



November 17th - December 10th

THE WIZARD OF OZ (Curve Leicester)

NATIVITY! THE MUSICAL (Birmingham Rep)



November 19th - January 7th 2023

SAVING GRACE (Riverside Studios)



November 22nd - December 4th

November 23rd - January 21st 2023

THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA (Alexandra Palace)



November 27th

MANDELA (Young Vic)



November 28th - February 4th 2023

NEWSIES (Troubadour Wembley Park)



November 29th - February 19th 2023
