Nicole Raquel Dennis To Lead Dreamgirls Tour

Nicole Raquel Dennis has been announced as joining the forthcoming UK tour of Dreamgirls playing the lead role of Effie.
Nicole previously understudied the role at the Savoy theatre before moving on to appear in Waitress and Dear Evan Hansen. She also appeared on the 2019 series of The Voice where she was mentored by another Effie - Jennifer Hudson.
The tour is due to begin in Bristol on September 12th before continuing around the country through 2021.
Due to the uncertainty of when theatres will reopen (the likelihood is no West end theaters will reopen before September) there's a chance Nicole won't be able to return to Dear Evan Hansen for a proper send off for her character Alana.
Further casting of Dreamgirls is to be announced but with a powerhouse vocal like Nicole's, I'm telling you I'll be going!
