New Concert Series At The Coliseum Announced

In some good news to start your Wednesday (after the strange stories of yesterday), a brand new concert series has been announced.

"Tonight At The London Coliseum" will take place each night over the course of a week this September, filmed live from the iconic venue in the West end.

Taking part in the series are Carrie Hope Fletcher, Sharon D. Clarke, Kerry Ellis, Cassidy Janson, Ramin Karimloo and a double header from everyone's favourite Bat Out Of Hell married couple Sharon Sexton and Rob Fowler.

Excitingly, as well as that stunning line up, the series will also feature the premiere of a brand new musical. After You is set on a cruise liner setting sail from the South coast of England, bound for New York. It stars the current Javert in Les Miserables, Bradley Jaden and The Prince of Egypt (and standout of many a lockdown concert) star Alexia Khadime. The show has been composed by Alex Parker and Katie Lam and directed by Jordan Murphy.

The exact dates are yet to be announced but tickets go on sale from August 14th. Tickets cost £15 for each show with a portion of each ticket going to the ENO Contingency Fund which raises money to help young people get involved in opera.

More information is available from taketwotheatricals.com.

This looks absolutely amazing. Literally all of the names they have got are at the top of their game and a new show is always welcome. Looks like I'll be spending that entire week at the Coliseum (virtually of course).
