Frozen Delayed To 2021 + Full Cast Announced

It was the last major show due to open this year that hadn't announced a change in date yet but that has all changed as it has just been announced that the West end debut of the hit Disney musical Frozen will now open in 2021, instead of October this year.

The show will now begin previews on April 2nd with press night on April 14th.

All ticket holders will be contacted with public booking for the new dates opening on July 27th.

It's not all bad news for Frozen though as the full cast for the West end production has been announced. Joining the previously announced Samantha Barks as Elsa and Stephanie McKeon as Anna are Oliver Ormson as Hans, Obioma Ugoala as Kristoff, Craig Gallivan as Olaf, Mikayla Jade as Sven and Richard Frame as Weselton (not Weaseltown)

The cast is completed by Joshua St Clair, Lauren Chia, Cameron Burt, Izzy Snaas, Monica Swayne, Jason Leigh Winter, Hannah Fairclough, Emily Lane, Gabriel Mokake, Emily Mae Walker, Jeremy Batt, Justin Lee-Jones, Jak Skelly, Jacqui Sanchez, Jacob Maynard, Danielle Fiamanya, Laura Emmitt, Matt Gillett, Anna Woodside, Jemma Revell, Jake Lawrence and Sarah O'Connor.

Danielle Fiamanya will play the first cover Elsa while Sarah O'Connor will play first cover Anna.

Obviously while the delay is devastating, it wasn't unexpected as we venture into the unknown for theatre this year (Yes, I know that's from Frozen 2, let it go). When it does open, it is sure to be worth the wait.
