Amelie To Return For West End Transfer

The musical adaptation of the cult classic movie Amélie is gearing up for a West End run, it has been announced.


The show was last seen in a limited season at The Other Palace in London where it played to rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Now, after a false start due to the pandemic, it is transferring to the West End for a run at the Criterion Theatre from Thursday 20th May and is currently booking until Saturday 25th September.


The show will operate with social distancing measures. When these guidelines are removed, it plans to move to full capacity but is currently booking at reduced capacity for the run.




The musical tells the story of a woman who secretly improvises small but extraordinary acts of kindness to bring happiness to those she encounters. With imaginative staging, this show is sure to win over more audiences.


Audrey Brisson will reprise her role as the titular Amelie and will be joined by a cast of Sioned Saunders, Flora Spencer-Longhurst, Rachel Dawson, Oliver Grant, Chris Jared, Caolan McCarthy, Samuel Morgan-Grahame, Kate Robson-Stuart, Jack Quarton, Jez Unwin, Johnson Willis, Nuwan Hugh Perara, Miiya Alexandra, Robyn Sinclair and Matthew James Hinchliffe.
