All That Dazzles Rebrands as "All That Doesn't Dazzzle"

For six years, All That Dazzles has tirelessly worked to celebrate all of the most fabulous, sparkly and glittering aspects of the theatre industry.

I think you'll all agree it's the right time for a change.

That is why from April 1st 2026, we will be completely rebranding.

We will no longer be known as "All That Dazzles".

Instead, we are "All That Doesn't Dazzzle" (the extra Z is important)

But what does that mean?

Well, we plan to shine a light on areas of the industry that are so rarely talked about and deserve to have their moment in the spotlight too.

We'd like to recognise some of the aspects of theatregoing that have always been overlooked as being too dull or boring to mention, but we really feel there is a gap for a website to devote its time and resources to talking about this, and that is what All That Doesn't Dazzzle intends to do.

We will still be going to the theatre but our reviews will no longer talk about the cast, creative team or the show itself - I mean, how boring is that anyway?

Instead, you can expect our reviews to be filled with information on how well stocked the toilet rolls were in the theatre bathrooms, how many ceiling tiles I could count, and how many Maltesers were in my interval snack.

We hope you find this new direction as exciting as we do.

And if you don't, excitement is overrated anyway.

Sometimes, the brightest lights are better when they are dimmed, and we hope you find All That Doesn't Dazzzle as mediocre as we aspire to be.
