We're already one month into January - notoriously the quietest month of the year for new show openings, we have had a few to be excited about over the last few weeks.

However, a new month is upon us and February is bursting with brilliant shows opening in the West End and around the country. Here are 22 of the most exciting:


DIRTY DANCING (Dominion Theatre)

February 2nd - April 16th

CYRANO DE BERGERAC (Harold Pinter Theatre & Glasgow)

February 3rd - March 26th

James McAvoy stars in this eagerly anticipated production which plays in London until March 12th before moving to Theatre Royal Glasgow from March 18th - 26th ahead of a run in New York. THE HOUSE ON COLD HILL (The Mill at Sonning)

February 3rd - March 26th

The beautiful Mill at Sonning plays host to Peter James' modern-day supernatural thriller. Starring Madeleine Knight, Debbie McGee, Harry Gostelow and Matt Milburn, it tells the story of the Harcourt family moving into their dream home, only to have it turn into the stuff of nightmares. THE NIGHT LARRY KRAMER KISSED ME (New Wimbledon Theatre)

February 3rd - 26th

John Bell from Outlander makes his stage debut in the multi award-winning Off Broadway hit about a young man's life being changed forever thanks to the power of theatre. THE OSMONDS: A NEW MUSICAL (UK Tour)

February 3rd - December 3rd

The latest jukebox musical to hit the UK is one of the worlds most popular musical families. See the story of Donny, Jimmy and the whole gang in this world premiere. WUTHERING HEIGHTS (National Theatre)

February 3rd - March 19th

THE FOREST (Hampstead Theatre)

February 4th - March 12th

THE CHAIRS (Almeida Theatre)

February 5th - March 5th

Eugène Ionesco’s tragic farce reflects on a life lived together: on what has been, what might have been, and what it all really means. With a cast featuring Olivier Award-winner Kathryn Hunter, this looks set to continue an incredible season at the Almeida.


SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (Peacock Theatre)

February 4th - March 26th

CAMELOT IN CONCERT (London Palladium)

February 6th

DRACULA (UK Tour)

RUNNING WITH LIONS (Lyric Hammersmith)

WEST END MUSICAL LOVE SONGS (Lyric Theatre)

February 14th

Stars from the West End are celebrating Valentines Day by bringing an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza to the stage. THE COLLABORATION (Young Vic)

February 16th - April 2nd

BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER (Turbine Theatre)

February 18th - April 16th

GYPSY (Alexandra Palace)

BEAUTIFUL (UK Tour)

February 28th - May 28th
